Welcome to Bethel Lutheran Church

We are a Christian community who are committed to spreading the gospel in greater Boston to Oromo and Amharic speaking Ethiopian communities.

Bethel brings the gospel to Oromo and Amharic communities. We encourage first generation Ethiopian immigrants to worship the Lord in our own language.

We love, pray, teach, and encourage Oromo and Amharic families with the Word of God. 

We are evangelical because we are committed to teach the Scriptures without altering the Bible both the Old and New Testament. We are also committed to spreading the good news of Jesus.

Bethel is like the Mekane Yesus because we worship God in spirit and truth with reverence for Almighty God.

The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS) is an American Christian church denomination that holds to the prophetic and apostles teaching of the Holy Scriptures.

Praise the Lord! God has been good to me. He has blessed me with a loving wife named Marge. The Lord has blessed our family with seven wonderful children. As a family, we study the Word together, pray together and have fun together. We look forward to meeting you at Bethel.
